ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for chefs at all levels to join our team here at Daylesford Farm.

As a Chef, you will be responsible for executing all dishes according to menu specifications. Ideally, you will have experience in similar fresh food, restaurant, or café environments, or you simply have a passion for good food that makes the basics come easily to you.

The role requires stamina and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Your confidence will help you give calm and clear instructions during busy periods. You should be highly organized and able to coordinate your station seamlessly.

We operate 7 days a week. If you are on a closing shift, you will typically finish no later than 10 pm. Flexibility in working hours is essential.

SALARY: Depending on level and experience (Salary + tronc)

HOURS: Full Time / 45 hours/week / Open shift from 7 am to 5 pm / Late shift until 10 pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute all dishes as per menu specifications.
  • Deliver daily mis en place and requisitions.
  • Ensure compliance with kitchen audit requirements.
  • Proactively assist your kitchen colleagues.
  • Share your knowledge and passion for food with junior staff.
  • Ensure your section is fully prepared for the next day with fresh MEP.
  • Learn about our products and production processes.
  • Comply with store internal audit requirements.
  • Highlight health and safety matters to your line manager.
  • Contribute to our social and environmental initiatives, aligning with our sustainability vision and journey as a B Corp.
  • Inspire and empower customers, suppliers, and partners to live and work more consciously, creating a positive impact on the world.
