Job summary

Blue Arrow is recruiting temporary chefs to cover multiple Gloucestershire sites with flexible working patterns and immediate starts. Opportunities span Prep Chef, Commis, CDP, Sous, Head Chef and Chef Manager across schools, care homes, contract catering, hotels and events.

Rates start at £16.00 per hour and can rise to £20.00+ depending on role, site and experience. Weekly pay, holiday pay accrued and a pension scheme are included, with DBS options available for suitable roles.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a professional kitchen environment.
• Reliable, flexible, and professional approach to work.
• Ability to perform under pressure in busy service periods.
• Good knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.

Due to continued client demand across Gloucestershire, we are looking to expand our team of temporary chefs. We have a variety of assignments available for experienced catering professionals seeking flexible work, additional income, or ongoing temporary opportunities.

Whether you're available for occasional shifts, part-time work, or full‑time temporary placements, we have immediate opportunities across a range of sites and sectors.

Pay Rates

• From £16.00 per hour
• Up to £20.00+ per hour depending on experience, role, and location
