Job summary

Loungers’ Carro Lounge in Wales is hiring temporary Chefs to join the kitchen team. This seasonal role offers up to £12.71/hr plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals, and a 50% discount on food and drinks from day one.

You’ll work under the Head Chef to deliver the all-day menu, keep the kitchen running smoothly, and maintain high standards from prep to plate. Flexible shifts including evenings and weekends expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to deliver dishes to spec and maintain standards.
• Strong teamwork and communication in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec from tapas to all-day offerings.
• Support Head Chef with prep, service, and standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety and allergen processes at all times.
• Work with FOH to deliver a great guest experience.

We’re hiring Chefs to join the kitchen team at Carro Lounge, on a temporary basis. Part of Loungers, proudly named Casual Dining Group of the Year 2026. Offering up to £12.71/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff food every shift, and 50% off food & drinks from day one this a great next step for an experienced Chef, Chef de Partie, Line Cheff, Grill chef. and more looking for temporary work.

This is a temporary seasonal position with a set end date. Ideal if you’re just looking for something for the season. And if we’re a great fit for each other? There might be the option to stay on.
