Job Description

We are seeking a competent and driven chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will prioritize food safety and quality, have extensive experience in food manufacturing and preparation, and possess a keen eye for detail. As a chef, you will be vital in providing outstanding dining experiences and overseeing kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation by supervising all aspects of food production.
2. Manage kitchen operations, including procurement, inventory control, and menu creation.
3. Supervise and train kitchen staff to foster a cooperative and efficient work environment.
4. Ensure compliance with food safety laws and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen.
5. Collaborate with hospitality staff to develop creative dishes that enhance visitor experience.
6. Assist in creating new menu items using seasonal ingredients.
7. Monitor food preparation procedures to ensure consistency and recipe adherence.
8. Address customer feedback regarding food quality and service.

Experience and Qualifications

1. To qualify for visa sponsorship, applicants should have a UKVI IELTS score or a bachelor’s degree.
2. Proven experience as a chef or in a similar culinary role in a busy kitchen.
3. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and culinary techniques.
4. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
5. Specialization in Indian cuisine, especially North and South Indian street food.
6. Proficiency with Indian spices, herbs, and traditional cooking methods for dishes like dosa, idly, samosas, and biryani.
