Job description

This role is being advertised by Brightwork, who are recruiting for our client based in Newbridge. We require temporary Chefs for our client site.

Our client in Newbridge has an immediate requirement for a canteen-based Chef for a long-term booking of approximately 3 months.

Interested candidates must have previous Chef experience, ideally qualified to SVQ Level 2 or equivalent, and possess a valid food hygiene certificate (elementary minimum).

Main duties include preparation and cooking of all meals, stock control, HACCP duties, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, and other related tasks. Candidates must be able to wash dishes/pots and clean the kitchen when required, as well as order and purchase stock. They will have overall responsibility for all duties in a small canteen, including ensuring the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 06:30-14:30.

Pay rate is £16.00 per hour.
