Shifts: 37.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: £12.90 per hour

What is Involved

As a Chef, you play a vital role in our Care Homes by preparing high-quality meals tailored to individual dietary needs. Responsibilities include welcoming residents, collaborating with colleagues, planning meals with input from residents and staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

Getting Creative

We focus on providing a varied menu aligned with SALT guidance to create positive experiences for residents.

Role Responsibilities

  • Follow procedures to ensure consistent, safe, and reliable food service

Essential Skills

  • At least 12 months of cooking experience
  • Honesty, reliability, trustworthiness, and a passion to make a difference
  • Commitment to the home's aims and Ivolve’s values
  • Satisfactory Police Check and ISA List check (if applicable)
  • Willingness to undertake training and development

Desirable Skills

  • Previous kitchen experience in a social care setting
  • Knowledge of Equal Opportunities and regulatory frameworks
  • Confident IT skills
