Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Kitchen Assistant, or Commis Chef is desirable.
  • Driven and positive with strong teamwork.
  • Ability to work independently at pace and with minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of allergens, kitchen essentials, and food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare dishes according to specifications in a clean and safe kitchen.
  • Follow the Head Chef's lead and ensure all prep is completed.
  • Help ensure customer satisfaction by providing great food.

It'll be your responsibility to make each dish to spec, in a clean and safe kitchen, and to follow the lead of your Head Chef to make sure all prep and par are completed for each shift. What you'll bring:

  • You may already have some kitchen experience as either a Kitchen Porter/Kitchen Assistant/Commis Chef, or this might be something brand new to you.
  • Driven and relentless, with a positive can do attitude.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Self-motivated to work at pace, with limited supervision
  • Strong knowledge of best practice when it comes to all things Allergens, kitchen essentials and Food Safety.
