Sushi Gourmet is recruiting a Full Time Chef Manager to support our team at Sainsbury’s kiosk in Talbot Heath, Poole, BH12 4BN.

If you are:

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, with the ability to demonstrate initiative
  • Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude
  • Always happy to help customers with a smile
  • Able to work as part of a team or independently while maintaining high standards
  • Excited to produce high-quality, sustainable food products

And have:

  • Experience in leading people, building confidence and capability in your team
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, leading by example
  • Pride in your work, with a desire to improve and learn
  • A good understanding of Food Safety & Health and Safety regulations, brand standards, and company policies
  • Reliable transportation for early morning shifts

And are able to:

  • Be accountable for the kiosk and team, maintaining audit standards and compliance
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and food safety on site
  • Be highly organized, with focus on planning
  • Prepare fresh ingredients, including meat and raw fish, each shift
  • Accurately label products for food safety and allergen compliance
  • Multitask effectively
  • Be an early riser, as shifts can start at 6am
  • Learn new skills or improve existing ones
