Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd. is seeking a Chef Manager for a primary school, working Monday to Friday 7am-3pm, 40 hours per week, term time only (40 weeks). The role leads a team of 10, serves up to 500 students daily, and manages kitchen operations including allergens and stock. Salary £30,000 with free meals on duty.

Qualifications

• Hands-on kitchen experience in school catering.
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety.
• Sous chef or Chef Manager previous experience within education (preferred, not essential)

Responsibilities

• Chef Manager to core feed 500 students a day.
• Lead and motivate a team of 10.
• Build rapport with children, staff and parents.
• Manage the day-to-day of the kitchen, including allergens, stock and ordering.
