Job summary

Eurest in partnership with Norgine Limited seeks a proactive Chef Manager to lead the catering operation at our Hengoed site. You will oversee kitchen activities, service delivery and compliance, ensuring high standards of quality across breakfast, lunch, dinner, vending, hospitality, and a cafe.

With proven Head Chef or Chef Manager experience, you will manage costs, lead a team, build client relationships and drive service excellence while maintaining food safety and relevant KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef with strong operational experience.
• Passion for fresh food and high-quality service delivery.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage client relationships and ownership.
• Understanding of food costs, margins, waste and labour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full catering operation from food to finance to front of house.
• Lead, develop and motivate your team to deliver excellent service every day.
• Managing food costs, margins, waste and labour with commercial precision.
• Build relationships with clients and guests to understand needs and deliver service with impact.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety and company standards.
• Drive consistency and quality across the kitchen and wider catering operation.
