Are you a passionate and experienced catering professional looking for your next leadership role? We are seeking a Unit Catering Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our catering unit, ensuring exceptional service, quality food, and a positive dining experience for our customers.

About the Role

As Unit Catering Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of our catering operation, leading a team to deliver high-quality meals while maintaining excellent standards of hygiene, safety, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily food preparation and service, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
• Lead, motivate, and develop a catering team to deliver excellent customer experiences
• Manage budgets, stock control, and ordering to ensure cost-effective operations
• Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations
• Drive customer satisfaction by maintaining high service standards and responding to feedback
• Work collaboratively with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders to enhance the catering service

About You

• Proven experience in a catering management role, ideally in education, healthcare, corporate, retail, or hospitality
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (Level 2 or 3 Food Safety Certificate desirable)
• Excellent organisational and financial management skills
• A passion for great food, service excellence, and continuous improvement
