Job Description

We are hiring a Chef Manager at Hampton Infant School, Hampton, who is committed to providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. This role is term-time only with no weekends, offering great flexibility.

The role includes:

  • £17.00 per hour
  • 32.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
  • Term-time only - 39 weeks per year
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to the standards required by Caterlink and the client
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements regarding Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation
  • Enhancing the company's reputation for excellent food and service with clients and customers, exceeding expectations
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the location, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
  • Acting as the main point of contact for the school, recommending and implementing improvements
  • Communicating regularly with line managers to monitor KPIs and financial targets
  • Supporting and training team members, leading by example to ensure excellence in roles, completing all training, and managing performance
