Job summary

Bupa UK at Trowbridge Oaks is seeking a Chef Manager on a bank contract to lead the fresh-food kitchen and deliver nutritious menus for residents. You will supervise staff and ensure high dining standards, contributing to a home-like dining experience for residents.

You will mentor the kitchen team, maintain hygiene standards, manage orders and budgets, and support events and seasonal activities. This role is full-time and site-based.

Qualifications

• A passion for cooking with experience in a fresh food kitchen and hygiene certificates.
• Natural leader with ability to mentor kitchen staff and deliver high dining standards.
• Commitment to resident wellbeing and home-from-home dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Create varied and nutritious menus aligned with residents' dietary needs.
• Lead, train and mentor the kitchen team to ensure excellent dining.
• Maintain high cooking standards and innovate in menu & service.
• Manage paperwork: COSHH, HACCP, policies, budgets, orders and deliveries.
• Cater for events and seasonal activities as required.
