Compass Group UK&I, CH&CO division, is seeking a Chef Manager to lead from the front and deliver exceptional food experiences for Inspire. This full-time role (40 hours/week) offers career progression and a supportive culture that values individuality and recognises performance.

The successful candidate will manage high-quality menus, train teams, control budgets and uphold safety standards while delivering great service to clients.

Qualifications

• Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
• Be passionate about great-tasting food and customer service.
• Have experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Strive for excellence and continuous upskilling.
• Able to work under pressure with reliability and timekeeping.

We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef Manager to help us create exceptional food experiences for Inspire on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.

Here's an idea of what your shift patterns will be: Mon-Fri (Full Time Days)

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Identifying opportunities to improve our food service
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role
• Delivering our tasty food concepts to our customers
• Ordering food, looking after stock control and controlling food waste
• Overseeing the efficiency of all catering operations, including managing inventories and implementing action plans
• Managing budgets and successfully meeting financial targets
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams
