Blue Arrow is urgently recruiting for Chef Manager to join our clients team based in the Cross Hands area.

Salary: £32,000 – £34,000p.a. with a Bonus incentive at the end of term
Hours of work: Full time 5 days a week
Contract: Permanent

Due to our clients business growth, we are looking for an experienced Chef Manager or Head Chef ready to take on a Chef Manager role with a better work / life balance. If you you ready to take on a new and exciting challenge with the opportunity to join one of Wales’s largest independent contract caterers then this role is for you. You will work for the contract caterers and based at a local manufacturing site in cross hands.

Main Duties:

  • Food preparation and volume cooking
  • Must have great kitchen skills and be able to produce quality food in high volumes to high standards
  • You will be working with fresh ingredients from the best Welsh suppliers to deliver fantastic quality meals
  • Ensuring food safety is adhered to
  • Working with app ordering systems
  • Work to company KPIs’, systems & procedures
  • The ability to manage GP margins, costs, wastage, stock control and ordering
  • Working as part of a team and supervising a team of staff
  • Flexibility

Candidate Requirements:-

  • Previous experience working in a Chef Manager or head chef role
  • Previous experience working for a contract caterers desirable
  • Able to cook at Volume without compromising quality
  • A hands-on approach and can-do attitude
  • Driven and wants the opportunity to be part of a well-regarded brand.
