Aramark UK are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to be a part of our integral team in Liverpool, L13 3DA

You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the unit, preparing meals, delegating tasks to your team and leading your team to success. Our client, a Christian Charity whose mission is to meet human needs without discrimination. The site offers a wide range of services to include supporting those with addiction, mental health, homelessness and individuals who have been involved with the criminal justice system.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in-country for more than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

  • We are offering a part time, permanent position. You will be working 30 hours per week, 5 days over 7 including some weekend work. Shift times range from 7am-3pm The annual salary is £22,500.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:

  • Managing a team of chefs - ensuring the smooth day to day running of the kitchen.
  • Managing and assisting with weekly deep cleans of the kitchen
  • Filling out paperwork, ensuring Health and Safety paperwork and due diligence paperwork is filled out correctly and efficiently.
  • Management of the catering (breakfast service) team
  • Manage cleaning service within a 45 bed homeless hostel
  • Ensure Team Members receive appropriate training to company policies; legal and health and safety requirements
  • Offering excellent customer service to our clients
  • Plan and lead team management meetings and daily briefings Health and Safety
  • Placing orders and stock taking, ensuring the FIFO method is followed

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Previous customer facing / food service experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
  • For this role you must be 18+
  • Must have eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for longer than 3 years. Security checks are required for this role
  • Must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.
