Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join our team in Liverpool, L13 3DA.

You will oversee the daily operations of the unit, prepare meals, delegate tasks, and lead your team to success. Our client, a Christian charity, aims to meet human needs without discrimination. The site provides support for addiction, mental health issues, homelessness, and individuals involved with the criminal justice system.

You must be eligible to work in the UK and have resided in the country for over 3 years. Security checks are required for this role.

• A part-time, permanent position (30 hours/week, 5 days over 7, including weekends). Shift times range from 7 am to 3 pm. The annual salary is £22,500.

A day in the life of a Chef Manager:

• Managing a team of chefs to ensure smooth daily kitchen operations.
• Overseeing weekly deep cleans of the kitchen.
• Completing health, safety, and due diligence paperwork accurately.
• Managing the catering team for breakfast service.
• Overseeing cleaning services at a 45-bed homeless hostel.
• Providing training to team members on policies, legal, and safety requirements.
• Delivering excellent customer service.
• Leading team meetings and daily briefings on health and safety.
• Placing orders and stocktaking, following FIFO procedures.

You will be successful if you have:

• Previous customer service or food service experience (full training provided).
• Must be 18+.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and residence for over 3 years; security checks required.
• Reliable transport due to location and limited public transport.
