Job summary

Berkeley-Scott is seeking an experienced Chef Manager for temporary agency work in Guildford starting September. You will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across schools and contract catering sites in the Guildford area.

The role offers flexible agency assignments with competitive pay of £18.00–£24.00 per hour, depending on experience and end employer. A strong leader with food safety knowledge is ideal, with DBS and right to work in the UK preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Chef Manager or in a similar kitchen management role.
• Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills.
• Experience working within schools or contract catering is desirable.
• Two satisfactory references.
• Enhanced DBS certificate.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be an advantage, but is not essential.
