The Role: Chef Manager – Laurel Court – Folkestone
Rate of Pay: Competitive £12.20 Per hour
Hours: 30 Hours per week – Four days per week including every other weekend
Weeks per Year: 52
There is the opportunity to work a 5th day per week to cover as chef at another site.

You will be the Chef Manager; and will be on hand to support both operationally and financially to ensure the smooth running on a day to day basis. You will be working within an Assisted Living environment where all the food is prepared with fresh ingredients daily.
You will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the role as a Chef Manager. You will be proactive and ‘hands on’ in your working style, an efficient team member; always building rapport with your team and your customers and hold fundamental ethics on always delivering excellent professional customer service.
We are looking for a real team player with excellent culinary skills; a strong knowledge in building GP margins/creating menus and costings as well as writing/working to a budget.
Experience in using online accounting/stock control software is also desirable.
This is a Chef Manager's position with occasional events out of hours.
Safeguarding is of the utmost importance to Churchill therefore you will be required to complete a basic DBS Clearance.
