Job description

The Wave, Bristol, are recruiting a Chef Manager to join us for a busy
2025 season.

As a Chef Manager at The Wave, you will assist in the running of a successful & growing
business that delivers fantastic food and provides an amazing customer
experience. Working with the F&B Manager, you will lead an amazing team,
engaging, developing & empowering them to ensure we provide the best
experience and product to our visitors each and every time.

Our Chef Managers:

• Lead the kitchen
  team and work harmoniously with the F&B Manager in all kitchen management
  duties, acting as the lead figure within the department
• Regularly lead
  service
• Ensure the kitchen
  runs efficiently & customers receive a constantly high-quality product
• Have a full understanding of each of the kitchen
  sections, including being able to run the pass at peak times and knowing food
  prep SOP
• Be an advocate for
  change and implement new menu items, processes and changes to the
  kitchen mechanics in a positive way
• Responsible for
  collating all mis en please from the kitchen sections
• Able to educate the
  team in our food ethos and full menu offerings
• Train and develop
  the wider team by proactively seeking skills gaps within the KA, Line Chef and
  Chef Team Leader roles. Ensuring the relevant checklists are completed
