Job summary

Sanctuary Group's Athlone House Nursing Home in London is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead the kitchen, deliver nutritious, restaurant-quality meals, and promote a better work-life balance for the team.

This hands-on leadership role will work with an Assistant Chef and Catering Assistants to ensure dietary needs are met for older residents, maintain food safety standards, and build a cohesive kitchen crew.

Qualifications

• Experience catering for the dietary needs of older people.
• Valid food hygiene certificate.
• Ability to lead a small catering team and work with others.

Pay - £17.25 per hour

40 Hours – no late nights, no split shifts

We’re excited to welcome an experienced Chef Manager to lead our culinary team at Athlone House in London, delivering nutritious, restaurant-quality meals without the long hours or split shifts often found in hospitality. This is a hands‑on leadership role where your culinary skills, creativity, and standards really matter, within a structured environment that supports balance and stability.

Your role
