Job summary

Sanctuary Scotland Housing Association Limited is seeking a Part-time Chef to join our Goodwin Court team in East Barnet, Greater London. The role focuses on delivering quality catering with a balanced schedule, no late shifts, and strong emphasis on resident well-being.

You will work in a supportive, not-for-profit environment that values progression and funded hospitality training. The position offers flexible hours and a safety-focused work culture in a retirement community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a catering environment and cooking for diverse groups.
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures and budget management.
• Level 2 Diploma in Catering and Hospitality and Basic Food Hygiene certificate are preferred.

• Deliver a high-quality catering service that meets individual needs, including special diets.

• Manage food and labour budgets through effective planning and purchasing.
• Oversee stock control, audits, and accurate record-keeping.

Your role

Your skills
