We have an exciting opportunity to become our new Chef Manager at one of our workplace restaurants in Cambridge CB4

This is a permanent position, Monday to Friday, working 40 hours a week, 7am to 3:30pm however some flexibilty may be required dependant on the business needs. Proposed start date 23rd June 2025.

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Chef Manager to lead a team of 2, catering for an average of 30 people daily. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about fresh food and enjoys the freedom to create inspiring menus.

You will have full menu autonomy to design and deliver high-quality meals using fresh ingredients, cooked from scratch each day. The daily offering includes two hot main course options, freshly prepared sandwiches, a well-stocked salad bar. home-baked cakes, and a small breakfast selection.

You will also oversee occasional hospitality catering for on-site client meetings and events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen and the preparation and cooking of all food production
  • Cater to the needs of all customers
  • Be responsible, dedicated and a strong leader with the ability to assist and manage a team
  • Deliver consistent food standards following the Wilson Vale brand standards.
  • Deliver fresh, seasonal and innovative food from around the world to all customers
  • Responsible for food safety, hygiene and Health and Safety both in practice and keeping relevant records
  • Allergy reporting and responsibility for sign-posting to customers
  • Budgeting, ordering, stock taking
