Job summary

Loughborough College Group is seeking a Chef Lecturer on a temporary part-time basis at its Loughborough campus. The role involves cooking and kitchen leadership, plus delivering City & Guilds qualifications across levels.

You will motivate students through varied teaching strategies and support progression in a large team environment. We welcome applicants with teaching qualifications (desirable) and strong interpersonal skills.

  • Lead cooking sessions and manage kitchens, deliver City & Guilds qualifications.

Salary: £19,542 - £22,905 Per Annum (Based on FTE £32,570 - £38,175)

Type: Temporary - Part Time

We have an exciting opportunity for Chef Lecturer to join our team at Loughborough College.

Responsibilities of this role include
  • You will have vast experience of cooking and leading kitchens and experience of programme managing and delivering city and guilds qualifications at all levels.
  • You will also be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate students through the use of varied teaching and learning strategies and an emphasis on student progression and differentiation
  • You will have vast experience of cooking and leading kitchens and experience of delivering city and guilds qualifications at all levels

  • Teaching qualification is highly desirable but not essential
  • You will also have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and work effectively in a large team.
