Job summary

PGL is seeking a Chef to join a friendly catering team, reporting to the Head Chef. You will provide first class nutritious meals for our guests, handling food preparation, cooking and stock management while avoiding menu creation from scratch.

This role focuses on quality, safety and teamwork in a supportive environment. You’ll work with a schedule that includes limited late nights, a Friday or Saturday off most weeks, and opportunities to develop your catering career while maintaining family

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of food hygiene and allergen handling.
• Experience in high-volume catering settings.
• Ability to coach junior team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals as part of a busy kitchen team.
• Manage stock ordering and kitchen organisation.
• Assist with cost control and waste reduction.
