Job Description:
Description

Are you passionate about Italian cuisine and love connecting with people? Do you have a flair for entertaining and creating memorable experiences?

If so, we want you to join our Pasta Evangelists team as an Event Host for Italian Cooking Masterclasses!

What you'll do at Pasta Evangelists:
  • Host engaging events for small groups (around 15 people) where you'll teach the art of pasta making and share your love of Italian food.
  • Ensure every guest leaves satisfied, inspired, and eager to recommend us, by delivering exceptional events that secure glowing 5-star reviews on Google and TripAdvisor.
  • Sourcing and preparing antipasto dishes tailored to dietary preferences, adding authenticity to the experience.
  • Manage product stocking, rotation, and daily orders based on class schedules.
  • Set up the event space to high standards, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Work closely with our Events team and attend workshops led by Chef Roberta to hone your skills.
  • Participate in staff meetings and communicate any issues or needs to management.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and food hygiene protocols at all times and complete all necessary documentation.
  • Full-time roles involve around 8 events per week; additional classes may be required during busy periods.
  • Both full and part-time positions are available. Candidates must be able to work one or both weekend shifts and some evenings.
Who are you:
  • You love interacting with people and can make everyone feel at ease. Your enthusiasm is contagious, and you enjoy engaging audiences.
  • You are passionate about Italian cuisine, especially pasta, and want to share that passion. Professional chef experience is not necessary; food knowledge and skill with fresh ingredients from scratch are essential.
  • You are comfortable speaking in front of groups and can guide people through pasta-making with clarity and confidence.
  • You pride yourself on delivering flawless events and never cut corners, ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
  • You enjoy preparing, presenting, and delivering a range of pasta dishes tailored to diverse tastes and dietary needs.
  • You will be an integral part of our events team, contributing to the business's overall success.
  • You are available to host events from Thursday to Sunday, capable of leading 2-3 classes daily as needed.
  • We offer training to develop your technical and managerial skills, whether you're seeking entry-level employment or a new career opportunity.
What we can offer:
  • Competitive salary to attract top talent
  • A dynamic, fast-paced, and diverse team
  • Opportunities for growth within a growing business
  • Regular team socials and pasta tastings
  • 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
  • Complimentary staff food and drinks during shifts

Who we are:

ARA Pasta is the first franchise partner of Pasta Evangelists, operating in South London and Southeast England. Our ambitious growth plans offer exciting career opportunities as we expand.

Pasta Evangelists was founded seven years ago to become the authority in fresh pasta, aiming to innovate in a £3.8bn category that has seen little change for decades.

Since 2016, we've built a loyal following of British pasta lovers through our recipe kits, restaurants, and pasta academy. Backed by Barilla, we are the UK's largest pasta brand by revenue and one of its fastest-growing startups.

We are expanding rapidly with new kitchens, delivery options, and our own pasta factory in West London, making us a leader in artisanal pasta production. We seek talented professionals to lead our next growth phase.
