Job summary

The Leicester Arms is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at a beautifully restored country inn in Penshurst, Kent. You will work with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver consistently high standards across every service.

We offer a full-time, permanent position with pay up to £17 per hour, depending on experience, in an award-winning country pub and inn. The Little & Large Pub Company group supports training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or senior Commis Chef seeking progression.
• Passion for fresh, seasonal produce and quality ingredients.
• Attention to presentation, consistency and detail.
• Ability to work calmly under busy services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, seasonal dishes to a high standard
• Manage your section efficiently during service
• Ensure correct preparation, cooking and presentation
• Support junior chefs and kitchen assistants
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards
• Monitor stock, rotation and waste
