Kitchen & Role Details

At The Belfry, our flagship restaurant, the Ryder Restaurant, holds 2 AA rosettes and serves 700 meals daily. We also operate four other outlets including Sam's Bar & Kitchen, Rocca's, The Brabazon Bar, and the Pastry Kitchen. Our banqueting team caters to various events, providing opportunities for culinary growth.

The salary for this role is approximately £33,671.04 annually, comprising a base of £31,449.60 plus estimated gratuities of £2,221 per year.

Role Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and set up menu items for your section, including advance preparations.
  2. Cook and deliver high-quality dishes using fresh, local ingredients.
  3. Understand allergen and dietary safety protocols.
  4. Maintain temperature logs for hot items and refrigeration to ensure compliance.
  5. Manage your section efficiently during busy service times.
  6. Clean and maintain your section and kitchen areas.
  7. Follow COSHH and HACCP guidelines for food storage.
  8. Adhere to portion control standards and log wastage for cost control.
Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie, with excellent communication and presentation skills. You should be passionate about food, detail-oriented, capable of taking ownership of your section, and proficient in COSHH and HACCP standards.
