Skills

Proven experience as a Commis Chef or similar role

Job Responsibilities
  1. Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards set by the head/sous chef, ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  2. Station Management: Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and maintain your designated area with supplies, ensuring cleanliness in line with policies and procedures.
  3. Quality Control: Maintain high standards for all dishes, considering presentation and taste at all times.
  4. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and support colleagues as needed.
  5. Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
  6. Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the kitchen clean and organized, ensuring equipment is in good working order.
