Job summary

Lady of the Grapes in Covent Garden, London, is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join its independent natural French wine bar and restaurant team. This part-time role offers progression to Sous Chef and focuses on seasonal, scratch-made French dishes in a Michelin-inspired kitchen.

You will work under a Head Chef with a strong Michelin background, contributing to high-quality plates, maintaining HACCP standards, and mentoring junior staff while delivering excellent food and wine experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' kitchen experience as Chef de Partie.
• Strong knowledge of French cuisine.
• Experience in a Michelin-standard kitchen is advantageous.
• Good spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook French-inspired dishes from scratch.
• Run your section efficiently during service.
• Organise mise en place and maintain kitchen standards.
• Ensure consistency in food quality and portion control.
• Mentor junior kitchen team members.
• Maintain HACCP and hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels and minimise waste.
