Contract Options is recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join a prestigious independent school in Oxford. You will work in a professional brigade of four chefs, preparing high-quality food from scratch and supporting weekday services.

The role offers Monday to Friday hours with a potential to become permanent, includes free meals on duty and DBS application support, and access to excellent public transport links.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a Chef de Partie.
• Experience in volume catering.
• Good knowledge of fresh food preparation and cooking.
• Ability to work across different kitchen sections.
• Positive, professional attitude and good team-working skills.
• Enhanced DBS is required for the role; the agency can assist with your application.

Responsibilities

• Working across different sections of the kitchen as a Chef de Partie.
• Preparing and cooking food from scratch to a high standard.
• Supporting the wider kitchen brigade during busy service periods.
• Assisting with hospitality events and fine-dining dinners.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and presentation.
• Working efficiently as part of a small, professional team.
