Job summary

Loveday & Co is seeking a Chef de Partie to support daily food preparation in our luxury senior living residences. You will assist the Sous Chef, help deliver nutritious meals, and ensure safe, smooth kitchen operations.

Experience in catering for special diets and a strong focus on quality and guest wellbeing is preferred. You will work with a dedicated team to maintain high standards, manage cost-effective stock, and participate in mandatory training and regular reviews, across our Kensington,

Qualifications

• Prepare nutritious and special-diet meals under Head Chef direction.
• Maintain cost-effective stock control and monitor equipment.
• Prepare meals promptly aligned with agreed mealtimes.
• Develop working relationships with team to ensure cost-efficient services.
• Report shortfalls to the Head Chef.
• Ensure equipment checks are conducted and faults reported.
• Attend mandatory training and engage in performance reviews.
• Support Home safety, dignity, and confidentiality in catering.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and Restaurant Manager in delivering catering services.
• Prepare nutritional meals to a high standard.
• Maintain stock control and equipment checks to minimise waste.
• Ensure meals meet agreed mealtimes and dietary requirements.
• Foster effective teamwork and report shortfalls.
• Keep equipment serviced and report faults.
• Attend initial and ongoing mandatory training and reviews.
• Contribute to safe, dignified care for residents.
