Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef - The Shropshire - Telford, Shropshire

Job Type: Full Time - 40 hours per week + Overtime

Salary: £25,000 per annum

We are seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join our fast-paced kitchen team. The ideal candidate should be able to follow the head chef's specifications and guidelines while also bringing their own ideas, skills, and culinary knowledge to the role.

Experience in a busy kitchen is preferred, and experience with functions is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  1. Work comfortably across all sections of the kitchen.
  2. Ensure the kitchen operates efficiently and meets the standards of the business.
  3. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen to the 5-star standard.
  4. Manage deliveries and stock rotation.
  5. Work cleanly and responsibly at all times.

Requirements:

  1. Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
  2. Familiarity with industry best practices.
  3. Compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
