Job summary

Compass Group PLC in London is seeking a Chef de Partie to join a flagship workplace hospitality operation in Canary Wharf. You will manage a designated kitchen section, deliver high-volume breakfast and lunch, and work across multiple concepts including counters and grab & go.

The role requires strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and allergen management, the ability to stay calm during busy services, and a collaborative kitchen culture.

Qualifications

• Chef de Partie experience in high-volume hospitality or contract catering environments.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, HACCP and allergen management.
• Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Running a designated kitchen section during service.
• Preparing and cooking dishes in line with agreed menus and specifications.
• Delivering high-volume breakfast and lunch services without compromising quality.
• Supporting multiple food concepts including counters, grab & go and hot food service.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene, HACCP and allergen compliance standards.
• Ensuring your section remains clean, organised and service ready at all times.
• Supporting stock rotation, portion control and waste reduction initiatives.
• Working closely with senior chefs and supporting junior team members.
