Paramount Personnel is recruiting a talented Chef de Partie for our client, an award-winning hotel in the Barnstaple, Devon area. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with a fine dining or rosette background. They should be driven and eager to expand their culinary skills within a progressive company.

The Chef de Partie will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the smooth operation of the kitchen, managing one of four sections, and contribute ideas for menu development. A passion for locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices is essential to provide excellent dishes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty
  • Assisting in developing new dishes and menus
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Monitoring portion sizes and waste to maintain profitability
