Paramount Personnel is recruiting a talented Chef de Partie for our client, an award-winning restaurant in Penzance, Cornwall. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a fast-paced environment, from a fine dining and/or rosette background, be driven, and eager to expand their culinary skills within a progressive company.

The Chef de Partie will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the kitchen's smooth operation, manage one of four sections, and contribute to menu development. Passion for locally sourced ingredients and sustainability is essential, with all ingredients sourced from local suppliers to ensure quality and sustainability.

Chef de Partie responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty
  • Assisting in developing new dishes and menus
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety
  • Monitoring portion sizes and waste to maintain profitability
