Paramount Personnel is recruiting for a talented Chef de Partie for our client, an award-winning hotel in the Totnes, Devon area. The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably with a fine dining and/or rosette background. They should be driven individuals looking to expand their culinary skills within a progressive company.

The Chef de Partie will assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in managing one of four sections in the kitchen, while contributing ideas for menu development. A passion for locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices is essential, as all ingredients are sourced from local suppliers to create excellent dishes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes within your specialty
  • Assisting in developing new dishes and menus
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety compliance
  • Monitoring portion sizes and waste to ensure profitability

All chefs should possess strong communication skills, be driven, and have an eye for detail. A passion for delivering outstanding quality and memorable dining experiences is essential.
