Responsibilities

Ensure dishes are prepared, cooked and presented to required standards within your section.
Comply with all health and safety procedures and standards at all times.
Run a section of the kitchen to required standards and train junior staff.
Prepare, cook and present dishes to standard and portion specifications.
Direct commis chefs or kitchen assistants in your section and manage waste.
Assist with processing orders and receiving deliveries.
Maintain cleanliness of kitchens and working areas and proper equipment use.
