Job summary

Merletto Lounge, part of the Loungers group, is hiring a Chef to join our busy kitchen team. You’ll cook to spec across a flexible all-day menu, support the Head Chef, and maintain high standards from prep to plate.

This role offers an hourly rate up to £12.71 with tips and a supportive, team‑oriented environment. We value reliability, energy, and teamwork, with opportunities for development and flexible working patterns that suit both part-time and full-time needs.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to cook to spec with attention to consistency and quality.
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec from tapas to all-day items.
• Support Head Chef with prep, service and standards.
• Keep kitchen clean, safe and fully prepped.
• Follow food safety and allergen processes at all times.
• Work collaboratively with FOH to deliver a great guest experience.
