Engel & Jang (Rexangel Limited) seeks a skilled Chef de Partie to join our kitchen at Jang, on the Mezzanine of the Royal Exchange in the City of London. You will run your section efficiently, maintaining high standards of food preparation and presentation.

Start date: September 2026. The role is a 40-hour contract, Monday to Saturday (closed Sundays). The team offers growth opportunities, meals on duty, and a uniform. London’s iconic location awaits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Passion for creating high-quality dishes.
• Strong culinary skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present dishes within your designated section.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
• Monitor stock levels and manage waste.
• Collaborate with other sections to ensure smooth service.
• Support junior kitchen team members with training and development.
• Uphold food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Follow health & safety procedures and company policies.
• Assist senior kitchen team to maintain culinary and operational standards.
