Job summary

Compass Group UK is seeking a Chef De Partie for Yarnfield Park to cover 37.5 hours weekly in a role with 7am-3pm and 12pm-8pm shifts. You will be plating high quality dishes and supporting service in a market-leading food service environment.

You’ll follow recipes, monitor portions, maintain safety and hygiene, and work with front-of-house colleagues. Training and progression are available within The Venues Collection.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds/Catering certifications required.
• NVQ Level 2 and basic food hygiene level 2 are required.
• Minimum 1 year relevant kitchen experience.

Responsibilities

• To prepare, produce and serve high quality dishes.
• To prepare fresh food items for use in dishes.
• To follow recipes to company standard to ensure the allergen report is correct.
• To monitor portion size and wastage.
• To work in a safe manner to ensure safety of yourself and others.
• To communicate effectively with the front of house team to ensure successful service periods.
• To be flexible and comply with reasonable requests, including servery duties.
