We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Chef de Partie to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef to take a next step in their culinary career and to be a part of a business that is obsessed with food and developing talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook dishes according to the recipes and standards set by the head chef; ensuring food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
  • Station Management: Oversee the production of all dishes assigned to your station and maintain your designated area with supplies, ensuring cleanliness in line with policies and procedures.
  • Quality Control: Maintain high quality standards for all dishes, ensuring presentation and taste are considered at all times.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate positively and effectively with all team members and assist/support colleagues where necessary. Coach junior chefs to support their development.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with the head chef to develop and taste new recipes, providing suggestions for improvement or innovation.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, ensuring equipment is in good working order.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Chef de Partie or similar role (preferably min. 3 years cooking experience within a professional kitchen setting)
  • Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Works according to the BaxterStorey core values
