So, what will I be doing?
As Chef de Partie, you’ll be an integral member of the team at our Blagdon site, responsible for delivering a well-balanced, quality food provision for Yeo Valley employees including breakfast, lunch, snacks and cakes. You’ll have the opportunity to help shape and develop the catering offering alongside the Catering Manager. As well as being a whizz in the kitchen, you’ll focus on ensuring consistency and cost efficiencies where possible.
Key responsibilities will include:
Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days.No evenings & No split shifts
Sounds interesting, what do I need?
The important things:
-Minimum 2 years experience of working as a chef
-As a minimum you will be qualified to Food Hygiene level 2/ Foundation in Health & Safety/Food allergen awareness-
-A background in working in onsite canteens
-Extensive knowledgeof food preparation and culinary techniques
-Demonstrable knowledge of food safety and compliance within a catering or food manufacturingsetting
-Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to train, develop and motivate
