Wadworth is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at The Barge Inn, a waterside pub known for great food and hospitality. You will own your section, deliver dishes to specification and support junior chefs in a high-paced, quality-focused environment.

With a focus on food safety and presentation, you will work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to maintain excellence and help drive the kitchen's continued success, contributing to memorable dining experiences for guests.

Competenze

• Experience as Chef de Partie or line cook in a busy kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to mentor junior kitchen staff and maintain high standards.

Set on the picturesque Kennet & Avon Canal in Seend Cleeve, The Barge Inn is a welcoming waterside pub known for its great food, quality drinks, and friendly hospitality.

We're looking for a talented, passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a key member of the brigade, you'll take ownership of your section, support the development of junior team members and play an important role in delivering high-quality food that keeps our customers coming back time and time again.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and taking responsibility for your section of the kitchen during service.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to specification and the highest standards.
• Ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation are maintained at all times.
• Supporting and mentoring Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
• Maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation and minimising waste.
• Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver outstanding service.
• Contributing ideas and supporting the continued success of the kitchen operation.
