Wadworth is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join The Barge Inn kitchen team at Seend Cleeve, perched beside the Kennet & Avon Canal. You'll own your section, craft dishes to spec and support juniors.

With a passion for fresh food, strong organisation and teamwork, you will help maintain high standards, train Commis Chefs, and contribute to the hospitality that Wadworth has built across generations.

Formación

• Experience as Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Passion for fresh food and hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and take responsibility for your section during service.
• Prepare, cook and present dishes to specification and quality standards.
• Ensure food quality, consistency and presentation at all times.
• Mentor Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants to develop their skills.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assist with stock control, rotation and waste minimisation.
• Collaborate with Head/Sous Chef and kitchen team to deliver outstanding service.
• Contribute ideas to support the kitchen operation's continued success.

Set on the picturesque Kennet & Avon Canal in Seend Cleeve, The Barge Inn is a welcoming waterside pub known for its great food, quality drinks, and friendly hospitality.

We're looking for a talented, passionate and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a key member of the brigade, you'll take ownership of your section, support the development of junior team members and play an important role in delivering high-quality food that keeps our customers coming back time and time again.

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and taking responsibility for your section of the kitchen during service.
• Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes to specification and the highest standards.
• Ensuring food quality, consistency and presentation are maintained at all times.
• Supporting and mentoring Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, helping them develop their skills and confidence.
• Maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Assisting with stock control, stock rotation and minimising waste.
• Working closely with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and wider kitchen team to deliver outstanding service.
• Contributing ideas and supporting the continued success of the kitchen operation.
