Job summary

HF Holidays Limited is seeking a Chef de Partie at Monk Coniston Country House, Coniston, Cumbria. This full-time live-out role serves breakfast, lunch and a three-course dinner within a traditional British menu.

You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef with prep, plating and kitchen organisation, ensuring food safety standards. Weekend/evening work is required with fixed dining times.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen and adherence to food safety standards.
• Understanding of allergen awareness and hygiene regulations.
• NVQ 3 in professional cooking or willingness to pursue.

Responsibilities

• Support Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and serving meals.
• Plan, prepare and serve the traditional British menu (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
• Ensure consistent quality and banquet-style service when required.
