The Chancery Rosewood - opening in Summer 2025, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, reimagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. It will include 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, along with various dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices, and expression.

We are seeking an exceptional Chef de Partie to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen operations in our all-day dining restaurant, a busy outlet offering à la carte breakfast, Mediterranean and Levantine cuisine for lunch and dinner, and managing our in-room dining service. You will uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and service, creating memorable experiences for our guests. You will also coach and develop a team of culinary professionals, promoting teamwork and fostering collaboration with kindness and respect. This role is scheduled to start in June 2025.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure all preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes meet the highest standards, supporting and motivating the team to exceed expectations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all HACCP standards.
  • Follow recipes and technical sheets accurately, staying informed about all menu allergens and contents.
  • Take ownership of the kitchen operation, providing guidance and support to colleagues, and fostering a positive, collaborative environment.
  • Support Rosewood Impacts by promoting sustainable practices and circular hospitality.

About you:

  • You understand the fast-paced nature of kitchen operations and are confident in keeping things organized and running smoothly.
  • You naturally notice when standards are not met and take corrective action.
  • You nurture and support your team, contributing to a positive, productive kitchen atmosphere.
  • You anticipate challenges and find quick, effective solutions.
  • You take pride in making each dish a culinary experience, ensuring every guest enjoys something truly special.
