Job description

This Wonderful Hotel, with a 2AA Rosette award-winning Restaurant, is looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join the kitchen brigade.

About Our Client

The Executive Chef and his team have established strong relationships with local farmers and fishermen to ensure menus are fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced. The menu features traditional favourites alongside a range of contemporary dishes, all reflecting the seasonality and locality.

Role Overview

Our client seeks an experienced Chef de Partie capable of maintaining and surpassing the current 2AA Rosettes awarded to the property.

Main Duties
  1. Follow daily procedures.
  2. Plan the daily operations of kitchen sections.
  3. Communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
  4. Conduct quality checks on stock, produce, and dishes.
Candidate Requirements
  1. Experience working in a 1AA Rosette establishment.
  2. Passion and creative flair.
  3. Excellent communication skills with colleagues and guests.
  4. Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service times.
  5. Experience leading a section and being a strong team player.
  6. Innovative ideas and relevant experience.

Additional Requirements
  • Permanent position.
  • Applicants must have a stable CV with excellent references, experience with fresh produce, and hold NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent, along with a hygiene certificate.
  • Applicants must be based in or be residents of the UK, with valid Right to Work documentation, such as UK/EU citizenship, ILR/PR status, or a work permit with at least 2 years remaining.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK must be demonstrated as per the Immigration Act 1996.
