Job description

This warm and welcoming gastro pub, located in a wonderful area, is seeking a Chef de Partie to join their team.

The charming village pub has been awarded 1AA Rosette for its beautiful British dishes, created using fresh produce.

They offer an ever-changing seasonal menu to showcase the best produce available. The property is renowned for its cuisine, prepared under a talented Head Chef, with the kitchen team incorporating home-grown garden produce into the menu.

Due to the location of this Chef de Partie vacancy, all candidates must be able to drive and own their own transport, or be willing to live in.

As a Chef de Partie, you must be able to work on your own initiative.

Requirements for this role include:

  1. Being an experienced all-rounder
  2. The ability to work independently
  3. Experience using fresh ingredients
  4. Previous experience as a Chef de Partie in a busy, high-quality establishment
  5. Possession of NVQ Level 1 &/or 2

Applicants must have a stable CV with excellent, traceable references, and experience working with fresh produce. They should also possess NVQ Level 1 and 2 or equivalent, and a hygiene certificate.

You must be working in or residing in the UK, and able to prove your right to work in the UK, whether as a UK/EU citizen, with ILR/PR status, or holding a valid work permit/visa with at least 2 years remaining.
