Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mentmore for a Chef De Partie. The Chef De Partie will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly, and that the food service meets our standards. Daily tasks include cooking and preparing elements of dishes, helping with the management of junior staff, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and ensuring food safety regulations are upheld. The role also involves monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in preparing and presenting high-quality dishes
• Experience in managing or assisting junior kitchen staff
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards
• Ability to monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Passion for using seasonal and local ingredients
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary certification or relevant qualification preferred
• Prior experience in a gastropub or similar establishment is a plus
